Placental S100 （S100P antibody）,95 amino acid calcium-binding protein.It's a member of the S100 family, regulates various cellular processes such as cell growth and motility, cell cycle progression, transcription and differentiation. After transcriptional activation, the expression of S100P is increased in a variety of tumor cells including pancreatic, lung, breast, and ovarian cancers. Recent studies have shown that S100P can be used to diagnose pancreatic cancer and distinguish urothelial carcinoma from prostate cancer.
